Leadership Retreat | Applications for the Leadership Retreat are available now outside of E100. Please come by E100 and pick up a form if you are interested in going on retreat. There are a limited number of spaces available. | La Raza | Soooo, you think you can dance? Now is your chance!! If you ae interested in trying out to be in the La Raza Dance crew. Tryouts will be held Wednesday, September 15th, from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the aerobics’ room. You ust prepare a short 3-5 minute routine to perform and bring your own music. You must have paid your $5 dues and be a La Raza member to try out. For mor information, please see Mrs. Pasillas’ room B101. | Open House | Open House will be Thursday, Sept. 9th from 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. Parents will report to your 1st period and follow your daily schedule attending each class period. Teachers will be handing out a class syllabus. There will be an opportunity for families to join PTSA or to order a PTSA apple pie. | TSA | Technology Student Association (TSA) will meet Thursday, Sept. 9th after school in Mr. Stewart’s room, G107. If you cannot attend, see Mr. Stewart before school. | BPA | BPA will be having Officer Elections on Wednesday, Sept. 8 at 8:10. If you plan on running for office, be sure you have turned in your application form and paid your dues. Don’t forget, BPA Officer elections, Wednesday, Sept 8 at 8:10 a.m. We will begin with President, so be on time. | Francis Tuttle Students | Afternoon Francis Tuttle students, when you return to school in the afternoon you are to stay in the cafeteria or go to C104. You are not allowed to leave the cafeteria area until 3:45 and will be asked to go to ISR if wandering the building. | Senior Retreat | PCW seniors will have the opportunity to participate in a Senior Retreat on Sept. 16. Participating students will load onto buses here at PCW at 8:30 a.m. and return to school by about 2:30 that day. Signed permission slips must be returned to Mrs. Bryan in C104 by Wed. Sept. 8. This retreat will be held on the campus of SNU. Breakout session will include important information for their senior year and college/career information for life beyond the walls of PCW. | Yearbooks | Yearbooks are on sale now for $60 until fall break. This is the lowest price of the year, so come to room L105 and order yours now. | | . | Sporting Events tonight: | Varsity Volleyball at home against Mt. St. Mary beginning at 4:00, 5:00, and 6:00 p.m. Lady Patriot Softball will be at Choctaw beginning 5:00 and 6:30 Varsity. Good luck Lady Patriots!! Our Cross Country team will be at Putnam City High School beginning at 3:30 p.m. Run, Patriots, Run!! | So Long, Farewell | Today is Kelli Fearing’s last day. Come on by and let her know she will be missed and say hello to her replacement Kristeen Westbrook. Yes, Kelli, you will be missed, and you will always be a Patriot. |
